post bayern munich depression.

yeah, so this happened.

it was pretty much the best day of my life. so here’s the story:

well, i have a friend dhia who’s a fan of bayern munich & the german national team. i knew of them, thought they were good but i wasn’t a huge fan. but yeah she pretty much got me into them. they were actually coming here and she asked me to come with her so that i can freak with her. and well, she told me about the one & only holger badstuber. (the beautiful guy to my left, & that’s phillip lahm to my right). thomas mueller, bastian schweinsteiger & arjen robben were doing a signing. so at first we walked around the stadium for like 15 mins to see if the players were practicing. we were in luck. then we watched. but we didn’t really recognize anyone because the main players weren’t playing. then, at the side we one player walking. we decide to go stand near the side. then, BAM. we see phillip lahm and holger badstuber right in front of my eyes. it was absolutely unbelievable. they were signing autographs for little kids and were talking german to them. i didn’t even recognize holger at first cause he cut his hair LOL. and my friend was like “SARAH! THAT’S HOLGER.” and you know the funny thing is before we came i was telling my friends at school “yeah i’m gonna meet holger and take a picture with him, put my arm around him and hopefully he’ll do the same for me”. AND IT HAPPENED. JUST. NO. WORDS! yeah so my friend asked phillip for the picture, he’s like “sure!” and the thing is holger didn’t see us and was walking away and we tried calling him but i think we said his name wrong? haha but then we asked phillip to call him and he called him in his deep german accent and we were thinking ‘oooh so that’s how you call him’ (LOL). and my friend was like “sarah you go first” and i was so nervous. i just stood there in the middle awkwardly. next thing you know, holger leans and puts his arm around my back, and i do the same for him OMG I JUST DIED INSIDE OKAY. like holy shit. and look at phillip, all awkwardly drifting haha! then they were about to leave when i had my picture and my friend was like “oh i want one too!” and phillip was like “oh yeah sure sorry sorry!” it was so cute haha. then she takes her with her little brother. then after that, we were like “HOLY SHIT DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN?”. then we see mueller walk by, but he didn’t stop by for pictures/autographs. but i waved at him and he waved back! omg. then we hung around for a couple of minutes and went to the mall for the signing. damn, THE LINE WAS HUGE. bumped into another friend from school and that lucky guy was at the front. there was this guy who was one of the managers, and like he came to the part where we were lining up and he was like “guys at this point i can’t guarantee an autograph”. and me and my friends were worried and hoping we would get a chance. then a few minutes later the guy comes again and like, just after 5 people us he goes like “gonna have to cut off from the line at this point.” and me and my friends were like “THANK GOD THANK GOD. OH MY GOD.” then we go in, and wow. i saw mueller. like up close. just. wow. the thing is i didn’t really have anything to sign with so i bought purple and pink sticky notes. HAHAHAHA. so i gave them to sign, mueller signed it and then he looked up to me and said “nice colors!” and i said thanks and i was just freaking out inside. then schweinstieger said hi to me and signed, i said thanks and he was like “no problem” and then came robben, i don’t really like him since he’s not a nice person. he signed and i said thanks once again, and he just gave a small smile and said “your welcome.” there was this lady there and she didn’t let us take pictures with them. :( ugh. but we were happy anyway, and then we went to starbucks to celebrate. yeah. i shall never forget this. too good to be true!
